

About Me.
Ponnusamy Arul's responsibility to serve as a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Institute of Biochemical and Biomedical Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (TAIPEI TECH), Taiwan-106. He also served as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Taipei Tech, during the academic year of 2020-2022. He obtained a doctoral degree in chemistry (Ph.D) (DST-INSPIRE Fellow by the Government of India) in the Department of Chemistry, The Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India, under Prof. Abraham John's mentorship. He also received a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) from the School of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He also received a Master's degree (M.Sc) with a gold medal fellow from Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Aringnar Anna College, Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He develops metal-free and metal-containing organic frameworks and hybrid functional materials for diverse functional electrocatalysis. His current research involves developing electrochemical and biosensors and monitoring biological live cell systems in real-time.
